getting real
show many of the steps in deploying a fresh site, such as taking a cursory pass at feature design, data design, and interactive design before setting up pivotal tracker and writing the first cucumber stories, using machinist and rr, rspactor and gitx, registering a domain on dreamhost and copying the appropriate cap recipes, using getexceptional and newrelic and google analytics, including a license and formatted readme in the repo, maybe even using compass to get off on the right foot with styling. getting deployed inside the first fifteen minutes and then pushing out a couple iterations within the hour. any alternatives to the pricey adobe stuff for generating icons and images would be another nice touch.

runcoderun might be another good inclusion. and perhaps webbynode would be a better choice than dreamhost (or else you probably ought to cover the process for installing gems on a shared host).

might also be good to show setting up an info@ email address with gmail on dreamhost.
