  It has also been suggested that this would look at some of the current measuring tools, such as pl_analyze, FiveRuns Tune Up, New Relic, etc.

  Thanks for starting this pdf. I am looking forward to getting this. There is quite a lot that could be covered in this pdf. It would be cool if it could also cover the topic of database sharding. Thanks!

  This is an excellent suggestion. A pdf on scaling rails would be extremely helpful (and popular)! I ran out of votes, but I should have given this one at least 3 votes:) As soon as I get back some votes again (and if this is still on the list), I will vote for this suggestion.
